Q: My carpet looks pretty clean. I think it’s a scam that we are told that we have to get our carpets cleaned professionally.
A: It’s not a scam. Don’t just listen to me, listen to the people who made your carpets. All major carpet manufacturers recommend that carpets be professionally cleaned at least once every 18 months, more often if you have kids, pets or if you smoke. Dirt ground into the carpet fibers wears down the carpet, which causes it to break down faster. Bottom line, a dirty carpet will not last as long as a clean carpet.

Q: Let me ask you this. All carpet cleaning companies are pretty much the same, other than the prices that they charge, right?
